About Me
I'm a professional musician and play Saxophone, Steel Guitar, Dobro & Flute. I work mostly in the Nashville and Tennessee area doing session and live work. Performed on Lap Steel at the Summer NAMM Nashville show 2009 Nashville this July at the Morrell Music booth and showcased their line of Lap Steels. Wrote 42 horn charts and was Horn section leader for the Percy Sledge Band Dec 19th 2009. Session Leader and co producer for Adam Fisher on his CD recording session which was produced by Stella Parton, project was picked up by Lofton Creek Records. One of the coolest CD projects , TN. One of the coolest projects I played on was for TG Sheppard on his 19 Nashville Friends CD project. www.19nashvillefriends.com Played Sax on a project with Nokie Edwards otherwise know best for being the band leader and lead guitar player for the Ventures("Pipeline" "Walk Don't Run" "Wipeout"),of course Nokie sounded great! Played sax on DJ Fontana's new project, BTW, DJ played drums for a guy by the name of Elvis! Worked on a project that featured a couple of solos by Steve Lukather, the guitarist with the group "TOTO." One of the best sessions I played Sax on was a session for Jack Clement that featured Louis Armstrong as the singer, these were tracks that Jack had cut before Louis died. I've worked with Tyler Dean ( Ronnie McDowel's son) on his new project for CURB Records playing Steel Guitar. A couple of months ago I played on T.G. Shepard's new CD project entitled "Timeless" which feature myself playing with Wayne Jackson of the "Memphis horns." I wrote a seven part horn arrangement for "Fly Me To The Moon" for TG's project. I have played steel on projects that featured such artists as Merle Haggard, Glen Campbell and Crystal Gayle. Some of the studios I work for in Nashville are Razzy Bailey's Hit-house, Gene Breedens Studio, Buck's Place, Sound Shop, to name just a few. In 1991 I played for Hank Williams, Jr., on the "Lone Wolf Tour" ( and lived!). I've done some touring with Donna Fargo and Razzy Bailey. Right now I'm playing sax and steel guitar with a 23 piece big band called "Radio Daze."

Thank you Judy & Lilac Moon Productions!

.....................For all the artist support and guidance you have given me since I signed the Artist/Publishing contract with Lilac Moon Productions last year. The new material that I had recorded sounds absolutely fantastic and my investor is certainly happy with the final price and outcome, in fact she said that she feels the investment will be doubled in the return. These kind of tools are invaluable to an artist su… Continue

45 lessons Life taught Me

Written By Regina Brett, 90 years old, of The Plain Dealer, Cleveland,
Ohio

"To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 45 lessons life taught
me. It is the most-requested column I've ever written. My odometer
rolled over to 90 in August, so here is the column once more:

2. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.

3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone...

4. It's never too late to have a happy childhood. But the sec… Continue
